Dronetag RIDER is built for action. Take it to the next level with Data Bundles by activating online mode. Data Bundles contain a pre-set amount of Scanning Hours which allow you to stream real-time drone detections over LTE and tap into the full potential of the Dronetag Cloud to stay informed even in critical moments when every second counts.

We have developed Scanning Hours packages to provide Dronetag RIDER users with greater flexibility, enhance efficiency, and ensure a stable LTE connection for the built-in SIM card. These packages support seamless data transfer while also ensuring visibility and security for Dronetag users' detection data.

Definition of One Scanning Hour

One Scanning Hour is calculated based on the data consumed when continuously detecting a single DJI drone for one hour – specifically, it equals receiving 100% of that drone’s Remote ID messages over that period.

Note: RIDER can scan continuously without limitations, but access to cloud-based features depends on the number of available Scanning Hours.

Message Volume Equivalents

  • 1 Scanning Hour ≈ 18,000 Remote ID messages
  • 240 Scanning Hours ≈ 4,320,000 messages

Exceeding this message capacity is unlikely under normal conditions — it may happen only in environments with extremely high drone density (e.g. airshows).

What if No Drones Are Detected?

When RIDER is scanning but no drones are nearby, only minimal data is used. In short: no detections = almost no Scanning Hours consumed. All usage is calculated per device.

How to Purchase and Activate Data Bundles

You can purchase Data Bundles here or directly in the Dronetag App. After we receive your payment, a unique 8-digit code will be sent to the email address provided with your order.

Activation Steps

  1. Go to the Data Bundles screen in the app
  2. Tap Activate Data Bundle Code
  3. Enter your code
  4. Select your RIDER device
  5. Tap Activate Bundle

Your Scanning Hours are now active!

Validity & Expiration

The Scanning Hours package must be activated within 12 months of purchase. A reminder will be sent before expiration. You can activate multiple packages at once – each has its own expiration date starting from activation.

Long-term or Enterprise Packages Details

Long-term contracts (e.g., $720 for 3 years) include:

  • Scanning Hours (240/year)
  • Software access
  • Third-party integrations like Aloft

Agency Unlimited Plan – $300/year with unrestricted Scanning Hours limit.
